Midcoast Cardiovascular Associates (MCA) is a multidisciplinary cardiovascular medical group offering state-of-the-art, comprehensive cardiovascular services. We have extensive experience in consultative, interventional, and preventative cardiovascular treatments. At MCA, we pride ourselves in creating individualized patient experiences and customized care. Founded in 2011 by Dr. Mark Ginkel, MCA has quickly grown to service an expansive region of the Central Coast.

Our patient-centered philosophy has lead to numerous satisfied patients and a number of lifelong friends. In fact, during his 20-plus years of experience, Dr. Ginkel has performed over 2,000 device implantations and complex coronary interventions. In addition to coronary procedures, we offer endovascular treatments of peripheral vascular disease, aortic aneurysms and carotid artery disease. In 2015, Dr. Ginkel added Midcoast Vein (MV) to our vast array of services. At Midcoast Vein, we offer the latest and most advanced treatments for varicose veins including endovenous radiofrequency ablation, sclerotherapy and microphlebectomy.
